Nine dead as wildfires ravage northern Portugal, Spain

LISBON/MADRID (Reuters) - At least nine people died as hundreds of wildfires ravaged northern Spain and Portugal, scorching farmland and forcing the evacuation of towns and villages, authorities said on Monday.
